Los Girasoles is Moving
If you are wondering what is going on with Los Girasoles Restaurant, let me see if I can explain, at least I will share what I know.
The Caldwell area is growing up pretty good, I am sure that you have seen some of the construction and the new businesses, such as the Kawasaki dealer, well, the spot where Los Girasoles has been, is going to be a shopping center of some sort. So, from what I have been told, it is about time for this project to start, so, Los Girasoles had to move, but don’t worry, as soon as the new location is ready, they will be open. No, I am not sure when this will be, but, I believe that it will be somewhere around two weeks, at least I hope so, it has only been a day and I miss my enchilada special!
If you are a regular there, then I am sure that you have seen the signs, the new location is on SH21 down there in frnt of the motel, close to the hospital. Yes, it will seem like forever until they open, but if you are like me, I will be watching! The new location should be a good thing for all of us, it is a bit larger so there should be more room for all of us! I know I have almost had to wait in line at the old location, it got a bit crowded at lunch time, and was almost overflowing for breakfast on the weekends!
Sorry it took me so long to write this, but I had hoped to get more specifics. Anyway, I will definitely write about it when they do, and once I have it, I will update the site for the hours and address, and any other changes, see ya’ll there!

I am building this site just to help others looking for a great place to eat in and around the Caldwell Texas area. This is just my way of saying thanks, these folks at Los Girasoles have been great to me and I want the world to know. I will be posting information such as a menu and may even do write-ups on the menu items and such. If you know of this restaurant, check it out, and come here and post a comment. This place has great food and great service, and believe it or not, they have more than just Mexican Food! Do you like chicken fried steak? Los Girasoles has the best one around and it is more affordable too!
